ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE Environmental science is a branch of science which has interdisciplinary fields like physical, biological and information science including plant science, physics, biology, ecology, geology, social science, zoology, atmospheric science and physical geography to the study of the Environment and the solution of the Environmental problems. Some Important components of the Environment: 1. Atmospheric Sciences: It deals with the Earth’s atmosphere that focuses on interrelation to the other components. Atmospheric science can also include greenhouse gas phenomena, meteorology, and atmospheric dispersion modeling of airborne contaminants, sound propagation phenomena related to noise pollution, and even light pollution.
